Laan Kai (ล้านไข่) is a noodle joint right in the middle of Kad Malin, across from CMU’s North gate. Their four or five kinds of broth are all excellent, and they’ll make your soup with eggs any way you want (including wrapping the noodles in an omelette). They also have shrimp dumplings and other sides, and you can order sushi from one of the Japanese restaurants next door. There isn’t really a menu other than a checklist with no English, so reading Thai helps.
